Super excited but.....
 

i have been watching this car since it was first announced. i cant wait to get my hands on one but..... i think i may wait a year. im sure this car is and will be amazing. for most cars the first year always have some bugs to work out of them. not saying this is the case but just my take on it. Also should i (or we) hold out for a possible turbo version of the car? i read i online somewhere that there was plenty room for a turbo and that they currently were discussing plans for a turbo version. possible 2014???? i dont know tell me what you guys think about this :iono:

Welcome to the forum. Not sure about plans for a future turbo.. I think subaru confirmed a turbo turbo version of the FA20 engine but not sure if it will appear in the brz. I saw the brz up close and I can tell you right now there is not "plenty of room" for a turbo. Check out the brz sub forum and look at the pics from the dc auto show. You'll see what I mean. If you are serious about buying I would get on the dealer list asap. If you want the brz, rumor is, there will be no pre orders and each dealer will only get 1-2 per month. :eyebulge:

It's not about being rude. I was a newbie and you know what I did when I came to this forum? I actually read threads, searched for information, and jumped in on a thread or two if I had pertinant questions. I'm pretty chilled out when it comes to newer members because we all have to learn, but when someone says worst first post ever and I agree, I'm going to say I agree lol. It's tough love, the new kid will learn.

I still say the odds of turbo are astronomical. Something radical would have to change in the market that would force Subaru to compete. Like Nissan coming out with a new 240sx or something equally unlikely/random

Wow car is not even out yet and people are already dumping on new comers with the "search you newb!" stuff. I'd hate to post a question a year from now on this forum.
