Hey guys here are some quick pics that were taken of my car recently with my new wheels.

The specs are:

Rota RT5s 18x9.5+38 Square in Hyper Black
Achilles ATR sport 265-35-18 square

The achilles tires were thrown on so the car could make it to a large show here in FL, stickier RS3's coming soon.

Fenders were rolled for extra clearance as the car is "autocrossed" regularly and I want to begin running some SCCA events to get some real seat time along with some local guys. I wanted a flush and aggressive stance that was fully functional for the track.

The car does have a CS replica polyurethane lip now too but I didn't receive it in time for the show.

Please excuse the crappy cell pics, professional pics are to follow soon.

How much did the fender rolling help in terms of clearance. I know they are " rolled " from the factory but how much room for improvement is there?

Looks great!

Thank you!

It helped a good deal.

I only rubbed in the rear under terrible road conditions or large, deep bumps at high speed on the highway. Even then it was a very very slight rub and never showed any real markings on the tires.

Now it doesn't rub at all under any circumstances.

Looks good with those tires. I'm considering going 245 with a new set up, but thinking of going 9.5 +30 rear and 9.5+35 front. Do you think that set up will work with 245s all around.

245's will work well and provide some extra clearance. It will have a light stretch to it as well.

Thanx. I have 225s right now and don't care for the stretched look anymore.

so no problems in the front? no strut or fender clearance issues? Do you think if you were slightly higher, the rear would of been fine without rolling?

Thanks

Zero problems in the front, I have coilovers obviously so I have more than enough clearance. I dont rub under any circumstances even at full lock. If I went a little bit higher I am sure I never would hit at all, but I do have 10k front and rear spring rates so your milage may vary. I do prefer the rake stance it has now, so I am more than happy.

Thanks,
definitely looks good. I am also going for a flush yet functional look but I am gonna go with 245 35 18 on 18x9.5 +40 hopefully all works out without much work.
