Anybody talking to Scion dealers yet?

I've probably emailed every Scion dealer in the area asking questions. Gotten the normal answers and rumors we have here, and then I've gotten specific dates from multiple (2) dealers and some other interesting things.

Curious of what you guys have heard about Pre ordering and Deposits.

I just gave a deposit and reserved a Whiteout/Manual.:party0030:

I asked my local dealer and they said maybe they'll hear something around November/December. x_x

i was told to fuck off and to never call again

ohh wait that was my ex...

problem?

anyway... my dealer also told me to call them back in June, at this point i have a feeling i know more than they do anyway.

I called mine 2 days ago and not a single person even knew what the FRS was....

This is why i hate the idea of dealerships, the people who work there have no interest in the products they sell.

i guess the socal dealers.. err, at least the ones local to toyota headquarters seem to know a bit more. One even told me about a dealer special they were putting together.

Agreed, it's insulting when the salesperson knows nothing other than what is on the window sticker. I cant stand that! As if im supposed to buy the second most expensive purchase in my life (behind my house) from someone who is clueless about the product. I know ''buyer beware'' but come on, this is your (sales persons) career, know what the hell your selling. Rant over.

Its sad when they try and throw me misinformation. I cant tell if they are lying or just dont know.

I had a guy a local honda dealer tell me that the s2000 was a 3 liter straight 6....

I can almost guarantee we know more on this forum than 95% of Scion dealers.

I talked to the Bull (gm at my toycion dealer) he said June 1st, but he'll have every detail about the car by late April-early May.
