Return it. Ask for a refund for a broken product.

Seller should be responsible (or their designated shipping company if it has insurance) regarding your product. If you paid through e-bay or paypal you can write up a claim.

They have to be really stupid to ship without insurance. It shouldn't be an issue other then more waiting.

ugh im on a bad luck streak i spray painted my headlights yesterday and the paints just flaked off.. i should have used the krylon fusion from the beginning... anyways i spent all night peeling the flaked paint off and then remasked it all again for painting.. but rainy weather today so i cant paint them... Then this happened =/ anyways im hoping i can catch a little break.. wish i couldve done everything this week..Do you guys know if i could get another tail light if i have to ship them both back or something? One of them works perfectly fine with no damage.

It depends on the seller. Did you buy through Ebay or was this a private seller?

You would ONLY ship back if the seller asks you too. Other wise you'll have to file a claim. (ebay)

If you bought it from a private seller you'll have to contact paypal and tell them the seller sent you a broken item. Paypal should refund your money back. Of course within reason.

In that case.. I would contact the seller. lol

If it doesn't work out then.. well.. at that point there's not much left you can really do. :/

Good luck. Took my exactly 1 year to get my money back from USPS on an insured package they lost.

Basically what everyone said, contact the seller. Man i'm sorry that happened, hope your bad luck ends!

Should i open a dispute on paypal first? Since there is a time limit on that?

Well, send him a message first and if he doesn't respond in 2-3 days open up a claim on paypal. :)
