Wheel Directory: CCW Classic 18x9.5 +33 / 18x10.0 +38
http://www.darrendriven.com/ft86/title.png
Figured i'd post this in here so it could be added to the directory. I already posted pics in my member journal. Specs: CCW Classics, Fully Polished, Bridgestone RE760 Sport Fronts - 18x9.5 +33 (38), 245/35/18 Rears - 18x10 +38, 255/35/18 Weight: Wheels are 20lbs. came out to 47.2 with tires for the rear. Believe the fronts were 45.x. Stock wheels with Blizzak LM70 were 40.2lbs. So overall about 20 pounds added...not bad considering the sizes and these wheels are the street version which are heavier. I had to use a 5mm spacer to clear the airbag, this wasn't on purpose I think I just didn't communicate properly to CCW as they asked me about this with inboard clearance when I talked to them on the phone. This is aired out completely - My driving height measured out to -2.5 camber all around. It would have been 1.8-2.0 in the front (like I wanted it to be) if I didn't have to end up putting that spacer in. I'll try to snap a pic of the driving height. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps284f253e.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps41543a03.jpg |

segue - why do ppl run staggered, is 10 too wide for the fronts with 18s, i.e. rubbing? what a good safe max width for 18s for the front, lowered 1.5"? thanks. |
not sure if you are asking me that question, but I wouldn't go 18x10 in the front unless you plan on running a high offset or a good amount of camber. I think a 9" wheel up front is perfect to fill the gap and not run a lot of camber. 9.5 is doable too but you would need around 2 or possibly a little less depending on how low you go.
Not sure how much 1.5 drop would bring the car down to..but keep in mind even if you could run a 10 lets say on that much of a drop without rubbing, you would be sticking out of the fender and would have a massive amount of poke. Nothing on my setup rubs just a FYI. |
well done. if you ever well these let me know :P

From what i've heard the quality of the wheels is worth the price. But shit, its really expensive.
