DIY tinted tail lights.

I tinted my tail lights myself. instead of paying a ton of money trying to have someone do it for me i did it myself for about 15 bucks...

how many coats of nightshades did you use? And how long did you wait per coat for it to dry? Also, was there any sanding involved? Last question, how many coats of clear and is there a technique to it? I'm thinking of doing this! Thanks in advance

is there an easy way to make them glossy again? not feeling the flat look.

Clear coat will bring back the gloss...

yea instead of using the satin clear use a HIGH GLOSS.
it will bring it to a shiney black. i like the flat as my car is dark. rims are dark. tint is dark. tailights are dark. carbon hood i just bought is dark. video and pics of hood to come SHORTLY! i used 3 coats of nightshade. waited 5 min between coats. and 5 coats of clear waited 10-15 min between coats of clear. i LOVE the look now. at first i was a little iffy. but was ok with it. now i just love the dark.

sorry it took soo long to get back to you.. been super busy.

yes you do wet sand it.. but just by hand with 2000 grit paper. the lenses will look destroyed and foggy white when done sanding. like 20 year old lenses.
