so I realize that my DRL isnt working for a long time but didnt have time to get a check. months later i went in Markham Subaru to see what happen. they said that i have to pay to fix cuz i modified the system with led light on license plate and blown up the module of the DRL and they said the module is design for stock light not LEDs . THis is Biggest bullshit i ever heard.

Try switching it back, and go to another service center. Would you mind sharing where you bought the LED lights from?

License plate lights have nothing to do with the DRL's, AND LED's draw less current than incandescent bulbs so if anything it would be easier on the circuits. If swapping LED bulbs into the plate lights really did cause the DRL module to blow then it's a SERIOUS design flaw, and the same thing would happen if the bulbs burned out.

Plain and simple, they're just trying to get out of doing any work under warranty because they don't make money off it.

Put it back to stock and try another dealership, and never go back to the one that tried to pin it on you.
