My father believes that the brz is just an ordinary expensive car. Me, I see a fun sports car with very good handling

You're still a child. Get a Tonka Truck and call it a day.

honestly i would wait. This isnt a car you want as your first car. Also sounds liek you would misuse it and get all kinds of tickets and maybe accidents. Why dont you save your money and get a used 2010 or 2011. Honestly thats what i would do untill you get more money in your pockets.

This. You don't want a nice car in college. A house is always a better investment than a vehicle.

I didnt go, to college. I go to university for 5-7years. So, I didnt want a used car.

I didnt want a house right now.

I respect the law, if I want fun I just need to go on a track.

If your smart enough to make all this money surely you can come up with your own argument for convincing your own parents.

If my kid asked me the same thing, I would say to him: fine, buy it. But you will also pay your scolar fees...honestly, it is not a wise move. You may not have many projects now but in a few years, you will. Beleive me, you will them be very happy to have the money in your pocket....just for fun, have you looked at the insurance costs ?

Unless you have no shortage of pocket money and expenses money for school, I'd hold off. My spending almost all my $ on a car the summer after first year university had a profound effect on my continuing education. In retrospect, a new car is a reward AFTER graduation.

Get a used Echo or Yaris, seriously!

University, college or what ever you want to call it is not where I would want to own, drive and park my new car. Depending on the school I would either get a beat up bicycle (hoping it wouldn't be stolen) or a decent running older car (it will get dinged and dented). I would keep saving my money and after I get thru with campus life I would then turn my attention to my other priorities. Who knows, it might be a wife, a house or perhaps a new car.

warplane95 04-28-2013 10:20 AM

yeah, but how many of you work 26 hours when you go at school?

its gonna be one year since I get up at 4am to go to work 13h Saturday and Sunday. So I think thats will be my reward.

I have already a girlfriend, and I need car because im from canada and the university I will go will be to far of my parents (we didnt have metro or airport in my little city
