Toyota Car Corral at Mid-Ohio Rolex Race June 14-16 2013 is a GO!
 

Mid-Ohio has went ahead and set up the Toyota Car Corral for the Rolex Race the weekend of June 14-16th. They will provide an area in the infield for all the Toyota owners who purchase tickets to park together. Time permitting, they will also allow the owners to take a parade lap on the Mid-Ohio Sports Car track. If you purchase tickets before next Friday May 3rd then you will received a $10 discount off a weekend pass. ($40 vs $50).

Sorry for the late notice. The representative had first said that 12-15 confirmed attendees was required but ended up setting up the car corral anyway. If you want to see some great sports car racing and chat with other Toyota sports car owners then buy your tickets now!

I'll have to see how things go but I will plan to go Friday-Sunday but, if anything, I'll be there Saturday and Sunday.

I've only went once and camped and i think that was all weekend. I'm not sure if a camp site would be available if I camp just Saturday night. Any ideas?

Friday, June 14 2013 - Sunday, June 16 2013
This ticket includes Weekend General Admission, Pit/Paddock Pass, Special Parking in Car Corral Area and Lap of Track (time and availability of lap is subject to change based on track schedule). This ticket is necessary if you decide to camp at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the weekend. A tent camping or motor home camping pass is required.

Advance ticket pricing is available through Friday, May 3rd, 2013

Price is $40. After May 3rd price will go up to normal $50.

Many people have been asking when the parade lap will happen. They usually try to squeeze in a club or two at lunch if possible but most will happen after the conclusion of the Rolex race on Saturday afternoon/evening.

I want to point out the the price of the car corral ticket is equal to the price of a Saturday ticket plus a paddock pass. For that price you will get reserved infield parking, general admission for the entire weekend (if you like), a paddock pass and a parade lap (contingent on time permitting). You will be able to freely roam the infield spectator area, the grandstands and the pits. There is reasonably priced burgers, sausage sandwiches, pizza etc available or you can bring your own.

I've went at least once a year since I was 14 (...i'm coming up on a decade here!)

This would be a really good time to show up lol .. plus I hear they got rid of ALMS here :cry:

However, if those Lambos have that sweet sweet V12 sound.... then I /have/ to go lol. I'll check with the logistics.

Don't let that stop you. Got to keep the tradaition going. I first went to Mid-Ohio in 1977 when I got home from Japan. I watched the BMW CSL and the Porsche 911s go at it. Since then I have gone about 25 times. Now my sons and I go every year and tweo grandsons have joined the fun. It will be a good time and if we can get a bunch of Toyota drivers to show up with their cars it will be even better!

Will bring up the BRZ.

For everyone else: Tomorrow, Friday May 3rd, is the last day to get discount tickets for the event. Tickets may be purchased all the way up until the day of the race but you will pay full price.
