FT86Club Sticker

I came up with a rough sticker design. I know we've got some really talented and creative members so feel free to show off your own design for a possible sticker. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

And here are other members designs:

Zaku 01-30-2012 01:33 PM

Thanks Manny, I like that, but for me I wouldn't mind one that just as the text and no piston, since the 86 already has them. I would definitely put your logo in my garage or on the dash inside.

MannyO 01-30-2012 01:45 PM

Thanks Zaku! I'll work on a few more and post them up.

Xiao 01-30-2012 01:57 PM

I do like the design. If you do decide to make these into production, how big would you possibly make them? I'd definitely put this on my garage wall.

I wouldn't mind the way it is, but i'd possibly would try to make one without the piston and replace the pistons with "FT" on one side and "Club" on the other. I'll try to post my draft sometime tonight if I get off work on time.

iff2mastamatt 01-30-2012 02:04 PM

I'd love to have one on the panel behind the passenger window.

MannyO 01-30-2012 02:10 PM

A couple more I whipped up at lunch.

Thanks for the input guys!

I hope we also get something like this in the form of the license plate holder like CLub RSX

Argent6978 01-30-2012 02:32 PM

I don't have time to work on a design right now, but I should later this evening. I might try and see if I can come up with some interesting sticker designs for us. :) Thanks for the post, I like your designs so far. Keep up the good work!

serialk11r 01-30-2012 02:36 PM

I really like the lowercase font used at the top right of the website...if it were just that it would be pretty cool imo.

I'm definitely open to suggestions on the font. I honestly didn't spend a whole lot of time picking one. Just kinda flew through the list.

Also, feel free to post or PM any rough sketches and I'd gladly trace over and clean up the designs if you'd like.

Manny, as window decal, I would prefer it to not be a solid piece but rather an outline so it's more lowkey. :happy0180:

MannyO 01-30-2012 04:35 PM

I'll see what I can do with those. Thanks Snoopy :happy0180:

Duly noted RRnold.

Snoopyalien24 01-30-2012 04:45 PM

My quick attempt; mostly for 86/FRS owners:

Just changed colors and size from business card hehe

Edit: this is good enough to be my sig! lol

bambbrose 01-30-2012 04:47 PM

Note that Toyota has copy written the 86 piston logo, and seems to be very protective of it.

I'm sure a variant of it is allowed, but some of the ones that use the actual logo probably wouldn't fly.

O.O :scared0016:Thanks for the heads up. Sorry Toyota! No infringement intended.

Infernal 01-30-2012 05:46 PM

THIS + ft86club test at the top of the forum.

Argent6978 01-30-2012 09:54 PM

Okay, here's my first one. It's all right, but I'm thinking I need to do something different with the font. Hmmmmm. I have more ideas, but I'm not sure exactly how I'm going to accomplish them yet. I'll keep you all updated.

Guff 01-30-2012 10:26 PM

We need a more defined car outline! The FT has really defined Front and Rear fender lines, and would be easily recognizable with those drawn in the outline...

Also, does anyone recognize the font used by the Toyota in the actual writing of "FT-86 Concept" or "FR-S"?

Argent6978 01-30-2012 11:12 PM

A couple more variations.

To steal Infernal's car profile...

That's the font I'd like, although I think red might not be the best color...Ideally the lettering and car profile over clear sticker IMO.

LOL I love how retro that 86 looks reminds me of the fonts from the 80s. the Car outline one is nice and traditional.
