#1 reason to not get RHD in north america
our traffic systems are designed around a heavy reliance on left-hand turns made during an active light. by sitting on the right side you a) can't always see oncoming traffic while turning left b) in the event of an accident the chances of you being fucked go way up |
Facepalm. This is the same converted-from-the-Yen pricing that we saw a couple weeks ago. Move along.

I'm waiting for the "OFFiCIAL BRZ/FRS PRICING RELEASED" thread. |
I'm waiting for the smell of ink as the excited Scion salesman bends me over his desk, pressing my face against the purchase agreement knowing full well that i can't bargain with him on price one way or the other.
you don't know what you will pay until you pay it. MSRP is MSRP and direct cost is direct cost however much a single dealership will give you a deal depends on the dealership then you got random shit like freight, delivery, and taxes, which are different from state to state to province (13% in Ontario!) |

The quality of the interior and exterior is exactly the same between the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S and the Toyota GT-86. Why would they make two different dash boards? The problem is a lot of the FR-S\BRZ we have seen were still pre-production units. Even the dash board is the same in the BRZ premium vs the BRZ Limited. The difference is in the details like the leather in the door panels\knee pads center console which is on the limited but not the premium brz and scion FR-S. Plus the limited has the leather trim\Alcantara seats. The limited looks better inside because of that leather trim and the dual zone HVAC looks more classy. Also look at a premium BRZ interior and it is exactly the same as the interior in the FR-S, except for the painted silver trim (BRZ) vs the fake carbon fibre trim (FR-S). The BRZ has its navigation system, and the FR-S has it bespoke (word is still out if this is standard or not, but it is shown in the upcoming FR-S commercial.) So for a BRZ premium vs the FR-S...it comes down to if you want HIDs with LED DRL's as standard vs the FR-S's cheaper looking halogen projectors. Both cars are going to drive the same. Oh and price. Hell we are all thinking that the FR-S is going to be the cheaper one of the two...we could all be wrong. |
I'm 90%sure we saw a thread like this a week ago
|
FRS will start below $26000.

Trust me on this one TOYOTA has worse fit and finish then Subbie...to a customer you will not see the differences up front or right away after driving the car for 6 months you will start to see what i mean...working at a toyota dealership as a sales manager and shooting the shit with the mechanics in the back you learn all types of things |

And BTW 6 years later the fit & finish on my Toyota is still tight; no rattles and no buzzes. |
