Exhaust, test pipe, over pipe, headers, or suspension build

Im thinking of what i should start with..exhaust set up

perrin cai+inlet hose(installed)
perrin overpipe (ark if they decided to make one)
Borla UEL
Ark test pipe
ark Dt-s Catback with upgrade hangers
TUNE

or suspension
stance,ksport,RSR coils
upgrade LCA,toes,endlinks, bushing

which one would you do exhaust build or suspension (brands are due to my personal preference, all opinions, critisms are taken non personally)

sorry topic falls in both categories. Chose this one to post it on.

Do you want better handling (if done properly) and a drop
or
more horsepower and sound
?

I recommend the Nameless Performance overpipe. I have it and it's really good. They also make a test pipe. I'd go to Race Comp Engineerings site for their coilover if I were to get them but I'm just doing Koni yellow with RCE yellow springs. I did do all the Whiteline bushings and I like the way the car handles even more after them.

I might have to look into nameless been hearing alot about it..if anything ima do full ark from front pipe to catback..was also looking into Perrin over pipe. I don't know if performance or stance/handling. Since I started with the intake system I should just finish it off back to exhaust then work my way with suspension.

What bushing did you get from white line? Where did you buy them?

TUNE, Full Exhaust System including header, skip CAI and just get the intake filter from Perrin and utilize the stock airbox.

My exhaust components would be from either JDL, Motiv Concepts, Nameless, Perrin. I have decided to go all JDL because I have ordered their UEL Header and my OCD wants my exhaust system to be the same manufacturer ;)

Also, you never mention if this is your DD and if it will see the track and frequency if so.

The stock suspension is pretty good from the factory. I went the performance route to get more power, and get a feel for the designer's intent of the car. I plan to do suspension work once I get new tires.

Question is, do you want to go around corners faster, or accelerate faster. If you can actually drive, you won't need power, because you can keep your speed through the corner.

You should decide between slammed/stance and handling before anything else. Slammed won't handle well, regardless of what suspension you're running unless you fix the roll center after the drop.

I've already done CAI but mine is a real CAI. Unlike other brands the filter sits in the engine bay and sucks in hot hair than cold air. I went with the Perrin CAI and inlet hose. This route eliminates the sound generator and resonator and also keeps my engine bay clean looking. I ll look into JDL. I've been looking at ARK. Real quality exhaust I mean I don't mind paying the reason also I went with a full CAI instead of a drop in. If anything ark test pipe with catback then ill start with the suspension or tune. This is my DD and as for track use not anytime soon. Long way to go
Personally thou keep your money for the drop in might as well keep your intake stock, drop ins are a waste.

I might go with power first since I already started it..if anything suspension should not be taken lightly therefore if I was going to do suspension i would invest money into it. The rims with tires I'm looking at is 3k from vip modulars. Most definitly stanced some slammage lol with r19x10.5 f19x9.5. Been trying to look for an ark DTS catback review anybody know of one?

Drop ins are anything but a waste, they are the best bang for the buck. The stock air box flows pretty well and you might not need to get a cold air intake until you start pushing high power and example of that is the AVO turbo kit retaining a stock airbox with a drop in
my 2 cent :iono:

You're going to need a ton of power man. You know how heavy rims and tires will be according to the sizes you want? Not only that, it is also rotational weight which really sucks. If you're just going for looks and nothing else matters then yeah that's cool. Also remember you're not going to be able to rotate your tires if you only have 2 of the same size on the rear axle. You're not going to swap them with the narrower tires on the front.

That performance set up is pretty much the exact way I'm going. I decided to go with performance first because suspension is already tight on this car. I DD my car as well.

A lot of people say you should do a tune first, but I was gonna wait as well til I get most of the mods in place.

My mod list includes the:
Perrin inlet hose + CAI
Perrin overpipe
Don't know who I'm going with the UEL yet
Ark test pipe + Ark GRiP exhaust
and then the tune as well.

In a couple years is when I'll decide to upgrade the suspension components but in the meanwhile I'm getting the eibach sportline to get rid of that wheel gap.
