Hate to go slightly off-topic...

The a-pillar covers ( I think that's what the pillars are called on inside windshield at sides) Are they a big job to install? One of mine is already marked... Now these alcantra pieces would make a sweet replacement but not if it means removing the whole dash to replace them.

And now on-topic sorta!

Any chance of selectable stitching colour?

There's a selection of colors available. Talk to JPM directly when placing an order.

OOps another thought...

How about covering the silver dash panels on the BRZ in leather or alacantra?

I can pull off an A-pillar in about 30 seconds...so no, definitely not a big job. :)

You missed it... we've been discussing these for a while.

They did a two piece version a while ago for 2pt5RS which is pictured here:

My panels are currently at JPM and Gen's panel was the first "bonded" setup where they put the two panels together and covered them, Andrew@JPM's promised us some eye candy by posting a pic of Gen's later on today.

Mine will hopefully be done shortly, the gaping hole in my dash is a reminder of the goodness to come.

JPM made these for me:

Is anyone worried about bonding them together interfering with the airbag function?

WolfSongX 05-01-2013 04:56 PM

I don't believe the passenger airbag deploys from there... I believe it deploys from the top of the dash if I remember correctly.

I do remember correctly:

Using the airbag to blow off a panel like that would literally drive a sizable piece of plastic right into the passenger's face and chest area at several times the force of the crash. It makes me shudder to think what that would do considering the airbag injuries I've seen in the past.

package price ?

Air bag deploys from the top of the dash. You can see how they account for this when wrapping the dash.

Depends on what ya want. :) There's truly a lot of variables. Being from Georgia, you wouldn't have to worry about shipping either. Shoot them a PM and they'll be happy to tell you.
