need help pairing ELM OBDII Bluetooth with Nexus 7 tablet
Recently purchased Torque for Android as well as an ELM327
Bluetooth obd2 transmitter. The ELM included a disc with some software. I can't seem to figure out how to pair the devices after the ELM was plugged in. Please help! PS- the ELM shows a red LED after installing. |
Did you log into the nexus 7 bluetooth settings and attach the device? The normal security code is 1234. You have to first pair it like a headset and then it will show up in torque.
Hope that helps! |
My Elm device comes up as "CBT." in my phones Bluetooth scan. Mine was either 1234 or 0000. I read somewhere that some people got devices that showed up at CHX and the pass code for theirs was 6789 or 7890.

Thanks for the help, I'm just getting the hang of android.
Its paired and working. Now just have to find a good dash mount and figure out how to find the hidden folders to install the PIDs. |
I haven't added any manufacturer-specific PIDs, but you should be able to easily do that by going to Menu > Settings > Manage extra PIDs/Sensors
