Freight charge on Scion FR-S?
I thought there was no freight charge for Scion's? I have one dealership telling me that price doesn't reflect, taxes, processing fee, and freight?
There's always a freight charge. Always.
Yeah when ordering a new car there's always one,
Now the question is how does one get that removed? I have no idea how to go about it, but I'm sure there's a way to not have to pay the fee.... |
There's a $755 "destination charge", anything on top of that and the MSRP that isn't tax, title, licence is the dealer selling you other things.
Look up the price for what you want on the Scion website, that should be what you pay (in theory, not in practice because dealers suck). |
local dealerships are iffy. I managed to find a whiteout for 24.099, but does not include, tax, title, processing fee, and freight. Other dealerships are asking 25.4 + additional fee's.
Be careful of the "processing fee" it's generally BS profit padding.
Processing and Administrative fees I have always been able to haggle for sure.
Freight is charged straight from the manufacturer, it's printed on the sticker and included in invoice. If a dealer is willing to show you their invoice, you will see they pay the 755 just as it is reflected on the sticker.
