Nice! Did they do this with a pro package or your personal?

Here you go @NickFRS and @stockysnail. I'm headed down to the BBQ but you might see this first.

Interesting. That's 1 more hp than when I had mine. Doesn't make sense since your's is stock. Either they calibrated their dyno differently or the parts I added took away power.... :sigh:

I actually talked to them about that because he mentioned that stock they've been dynoing higher than when modding. They said that in their experience, bolt-ons like intake and exhaust will steal a few hp. Their opinion was that the limiting factor with this motor is head flow. Told me the best thing to do first is get a tune, as you'll definitely get a power boost.

We need a dyno run from Perrin of stock vs with intake and exhaust to see what they get. Not saying it is happening but some shops calibrate things to make things look bad so you buy more services like tune's and parts to get more money.

Yes the auto robs power but it can handle more HP and torque then the manual

Not unless you go with a stronger tranny :P

If you compare johnnyrocket's stock car with mine that has all the goodies, my car makes about the same power within a few horsepower, so it would seem that the bolt on stuff does nothing for performance. I'm guessing when a tune hits the car the bolt on stuff will help a tiny bit in getting a few more hp.

It's the clutch that's the issue

This. Also the header on our car is a bottle neck.

Yea, it's likely that you're just missing the piece to bring it all together (namely a tune). Like I said, they told me a tune and head work are where you'll see the power gains. What you'll see more of with bolt-ons is change in powerband shape.
