Red lugs on Stock rims?

I can't really afford a new set of rims, but I'd like to see if anybody has any pictures of an FRS with red lug nuts on the stock rims. I'm not sure if it's really my style, but I'd like to see what it looks like.

I feel that the red lugs would compliment the red accents i.e. stitching and seats.

I wanted red lugs for my hyper-black rota grids, but wheeldude talked me out of it because they always fade to a pinkish color, so I went with black instead. I agree that the red accent would look good, but couldn't deal with them going pink after a while.

I've seen Chen's lugs... wait is that dirty?... and he's the reason I ordered some red lugs for my car as well. I didn't order the same however. I ordered some Gredy lugs from evasive motors.

I believe only anodized aluminum lug nuts will fade to pink, painted ones won't fade but are prone to chipping instead. Muteki's are painted steel, and I ordered a set of red for myself. They're not on yet so I can't comment on the chipping/fading.

Mine are shortie. So they havent chipped where you can see them. But where they lock on to the bolts. They have chipped. Not a deal breaker for me.

How often have you put on/taken off your wheels?
