Quietest CATBACK Exhaust Made in USA?

I have the JDL UEL, over-pipe, and front-pipe with HFC on order.

My catback is made by mXp and comes with a resonator. I have a feeling that adding the new header may make things too loud for me. I don't like loud exhausts unless it's an 8-12 cylinder ;)

I hear the Invidia Q300 is the quietest aftermarket exhaust but these are made in Taiwan and mass-produced. I want to buy American if possible although I would consider European.

I want quality welds done by a human, not a robot, and the company must have good customer support and quality control.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Invidia makes amazing quality.

Had my Q300 for over 2 years never 1 issue.

People say the resonated Perrin exhaust is fairly quiet. I have been wondering if its possible to mate it with a Nameless catted and hermoltz resonated front pipe. But i am a while away from getting the headers i want so i haven't researched it properly yet.

Why not just put the stock exhaust back on? It seems that the OE exhaust flows very well and aftermarket changes aren't really changing much. Changing the header seems to be the main benefit.

I have my doubts on how good the sound will be. Definitely worth trying though if The system is too loud with my current Catback .

You asked for quietest! Did you really mean "Something inbetween what I have, and OEM" ?

If you're willing to wait for Motiv I think it should fit all those requirements. Also, have you thought about just doing an axle back instead of a catback?

is Nameless exhaust quiet too????

JMPoole 04-22-2013 06:54 AM

The Stromung axle back is very quiet and indeed made in the US of A. Myself and DSOmegax can attest to the sound of this one.

The Perrin Catback will mate with the Nameless catted, resonated front pipe.

If you only get the axleback its super quiet. The helmholtzed front pipe is pretty quiet too but comes alive when stepping on it. But, even stepping on it its fairly quiet when compared to most exhausts.
