XXR 527 sizing questions

In another thread some fellas had the Phat Fux Ballzy rims installed, but I can't find them here in the USA. Someone mentioned the XXR-527 were a close match and i'm diggin those rims as well.

I want to know if anyone is running these on the FR-S/BRZ and what size tire combo. Will this size (18x9.75 5-100 +20mm) fit our car with Eibach sportline or pro-kit drop?
They also have a 18x8.75 +35, if this is a better choice.

Thanks
Dawud

Check out this Thread
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...=18661&page=27
Page 27, User Vader is running 9.75x18 with ET20 and it sticks out quiet alot.
You will also find alot of informations on the previous pages of that thread, including pictures of different sizes

You also can checkout my car journal (link in my signature) as I'm running the XXR 527 in 8.75x18 ET 35 on Eibach Pro-Kit. (page 5 and 6 have good pictures for the wheels)

Thanks for the info bro!

I tried using search, but I must be some sort of super n00b, cause nothing was popping up no matter what I typed in.

omg I cannot decide on 17x8.75 or 18x8.75... Why can't they have a 9.5" with a +35 offset or something.
Is the +20 that much poke and will it rub really bad if i lower on an Eibach pro-kit?

Can someone please post pics of the 18x9.75 +20 with a close to 1" drop?

Thanks

There is no way that you can fit 18x9.75 +20 or +35 in the wheel arches without using a coilover/camber. And even then they WILL poke out alot.

The 18x8.75 +35 do already poke out a bit (2-5mm) when lowered about 1".

If you want a hellaflush look with streched tires etc, go for 18x9.75 +20
If you want a agressiv sporty yet functional and flush sitting setup, go for 18x8.75 +35 or +33

Sorry to bump this thread, but I too am going for XXR 527s and am stuck between 18x9.75+20 or 18x8.75+35. I'm going to be on coilovers as well... do the 9.75s have a deeper concave? it looks that way in pics.

Will 9.75 cause rubbing problems? if so, it still possible to achieve that flush look with 8.75s?

Im looking to get a set of the XXR 530 i wanted to 17x9.75 in front and 18x9.75 in rear. Or should I do 17x9.75 all around or 18X9.75 all the way around? Also I need to know what offset to get. Please get back with any input of what will fit and work best Thanks.
