UPDATED: Greddy SP Elite + Borla UEL Headers = Very Quiet + HKS Front Pipe = Perfect

I installed yesterday an aFe Takeda intake + Greddy Sp Elite exhaust + Borla UEL headers + FA20Club tune.

I was expecting a nice rumble sound and I got it at cold start but once warmed the car is super quiet... I'm happy and not at the same time.

I'm not going to have any problem with the cops but I dont have the rumble I was expecting.

May be after a while the greddy exhaust will become louder.

Or may be I should take a look for a front pipe with a high flow cat...

I will post picture and video shortly for your and my pleasure !!

The sp elite does get louder over time. It is always quiet in the lower rpm ranges but give it a few hundred miles and that exhaust will start to make some noise.

Get the front pipe and get catless! Why pay more for less sound? lol

Overpipe and front pipe (catted or non) should give you some more sound and once FA20 retunes for it a lot more power.

Nice mods. The only thing I would suggest is if you wanted a loud/rumble sound then you should of got the greddy evo3.

legitimate concern, wait and see if the greddy opens up a little first. Motiv has a deal on a ceramic coated HFC right now i would look in to also i just thought the borla would fit better with their header. I helped a fellow member with a p&l header, nameless over/front pipe and accelerated performance exhaust and we had some fitment difficulties. Just because the parts have the same mounting locations doesn't mean the flanges and bolt hole sizes are the same.
