New Scion Standard Radio for 2014
I noticed that the Standard Radio for Scion is being upgraded when the 2014 TC is released in June.
I went with the stock radio on my car last year, since the BeSpoke only supports Apple. Has anyone heard of what the cost might be on the new radio? It looks like it has touch and NAV on it. http://strumors.automobilemag.com/fi...o-1024x640.jpg |

No, I read on an article about the new tc that for 2014 this is the new Standard radio and the BeSpoke will still be the premium upgrade.

i call bullshit, i want one over my stock barebones unit.

looks like a scion skinned toyota entune unit. If it's anything like the one in my mothers 2013 Rav4, it's better than nothing but not exactly top quality

Do people still use CDs?

That is the new standard HU for all Scions, then there will supposedly be a brand new, updated BeSpoke that you can upgrade to.

Just because it has a "MAP" button doesn't mean it's going to have navigation; it simply means the headunit supports it when equipped with the appropriate hardware. I don't see Scion including navigation without a surcharge.

The Touch radio in UK/EU all have the NAV/MAP button but it's inactive unless you purchased the option at purchase time. It requires a re-flash and external GPS module to work.
