Trouble installing TRD Air Filter??
 

Anyone else buy the TRD High Flow Air Filter for their stock air intake system? If so does yours fit like a glove? Mine sticks out on edges like the K&N filter I bought. It fits snug but still parts sticking out make me uneasy. I failed twice already as to I might just upgrade the the complete TRD intake system. Waste money on the K&N and TRD. Please let me know if I'm just installing it wrong or something.:bonk:

You need to unbolt the air box from the car to make it seat correctly. If you just force it closed then you run the risk of letting unfiltered air into your engine or breaking the air box altogether.
