Research help!
 

Hi everybody,

I'm writing a research paper on cell phone use and driving for a college class, and I'm trying to collect as much data from all over the United States. It has a total of 8 questions and should only take minute or so to answer.

I guess so. I'll take a look when I'm home. Whatever sample you're trying to gather, understand that by posting it on this forum you're turning your sample into a very biased, specific type of person. One that a) uses the internet; b) uses forums; c) is interested in cars; and d) is specifically interested in the 86 platform. Sidenote: This sample will likely be younger.

As long as you understand your sample is not representative of the greater overall, you're fine.

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated! And as for the sampling, I realize that putting it on this forum is targeting a specific and potentially biased population. This survey is being spread all over the place including non car forums. This is my first actual research paper and my professor realizes that having me sample the entire country in a couple weeks is not really feasible at this point so I'm just gathering responses and will report who and how I sampled.
