Thanks for the quick response. I've never really done any good detailed car wash before...

How many OptiCoat 2.0 did it take for the entire car? Will 1 of those things be enough? It seems like they only give you a syringe full of opticoat.

One is more then enough. I probably have enough left over to do my other car and I was being generous with it. It seems like there is no way the syringe they give you is going to be enough but trust me it is.

when opticoating, using less is better than using more. if you use too much and the opticoat dries, you'll end up with 'wet spots' that can only be removed by polishing. make sure you spread the opticoat evenly. you have about 5 minutes to spread the product before it dries up.

My Ecutek cable is in the mail, should be getting it by the end of the week.

Where can I get a "good" dyno done in town? Anyone have experience with any of the local shops?

Decided to go all in I see!

I'll be interested to see what gains you have compared to mine, not having the Intake/Exhaust upgrades. Though, I do have the drop in K&N filter.

That reminds me I have a drop in K&N that I won't need anymore if anyone is interested.

I am definitely interested in C&C. I've missed too many.

Is it on Sept. 1?

neutron256 08-21-2012 02:09 PM

Wow I'm off... Yep It will be next Saturday Sept. 1st. I guess it doesn't hurt to get it in people's minds a little early.

Always the 1st Saturday of the month. November is the last one, but they note that it's weather dependent.

I hope we will have a good turnout. I'm curious to see what everyone has been doing to their cars.

I would be but of course that would depend the details. When, how much, required training...

not sure yet. i'm seeing if people would be intrested before i do the research.

as much as autox is, there simply isnt enough seat time considering how much you have to pay (with the exception of test and tune events).
