I won't make it to cars and coffee because I work on Saturdays. I was at Chanhassen on 7/7 and saw a few brz and frs but did not run into the owners. I wanted to park mine along with other frs/brz's but the lot was full by the time I got there so I parked along the road. Does anyone here show up to the rice killer meets on Monday's in Brooklyn Park?

not familiar with rice killer meets. what is it? maybe i'll stop by after work today.

Big meet at/near Wagner's drive-in off of 694. Usually a good turnout, lots of people, very diverse crowd and group of cars. Pay $1 to park and hang out.

A meet for local car enthusiasts consisting a variety of import and domestic cars. It is $1 to park but it goes toward the cost to rent out the parking lot for enthusiasts. They also give out free 16oz. Nos energy drinks. It is located off hwy 81, across from Wendys; 6965 W Broadway Ave. People usually show up at 6pm up until the lot is full.

Hey what's up everyone! I'm just checking in; I own a raven FRS in Brooklyn Park area. I saw white out FRS on 252 yesterday, just wondering if it was anyone from this forum. Anyways, I look forward to getting to know the locals.

Ooh, i'm close to Brooklyn Park. I live in Plymouth and work at the Brooklyn Park Discount Tire Co. Welcome.

I haven't been to Cars & Coffee or Rice Killer. My car isn't in shape to be shown off, but i might show up to look at cars and possibly check out the local FRS/BRZs sometime this summer.

Damn so many people here... now I'll never get my BRZ

Chupacabra 08-03-2012 03:14 AM

You can still get one. I don't believe anyone has bought a black one yet, haha.

Completed my noise generator delete today and I'm so glad I did. With it gone I realize what a fake hollow tone it was pumping into the cabin. I made my own plugs for it and did a DIY with all the specs here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13696

While I was at it I also installed my Perrin crank pulley. Its not a huge change but I can definitely feel a difference. Since I have an automatic I had to get Grimmspeed's crank puller tool. Works great, and if anyone needs to borrow it just let me know.

Small turnout at C&C this morning but it was still fun. Mine was the only BRZ/FRS there lots of interest. I spent most of my time just answering questions about the car.

Saw a blue BRZ Driving on Friday night south 35W in the terrible flash thunderstorm we got at around 11pm.

How did it handle the 50mph winds and rain?

Is the acceleration quicker?
