It sounds like they'll have it till the end of the month-ish.

Definitely was nice getting a chance to check it out.

I agree. I was very pleased with the looks. For a car that is on paper very close to the Miata the BRZ is so much cooler. Miatas are fun but it terms of looks it's a girl car, that's even to girrly for many girls. :)

It isn't easy to make a MX5 look manly. I can attest to this. Racing stripes help!

I'll check with my sales guy at morries and let you all know if he has any info. Thanks for the heads up!

My bet is that the Minnetonka Morries store will hog it the whole time and it wont make it to BP.

EDIT: Just talked to a salesman at the Minnetonka store and he said they haven't seen it there yet. I must be at one of the local stores though.

I'll try White Bear.

It's really hard for any convertible to look manly. The S2000 is one of the few exceptions I can think of. A hard top helps but I've never really liked convertibles

White Bear Subaru has not had one stop by yet.

Morries Subaru has not had one stop by yet either.

If it's in the area, I will find it!

i'd imagine it's somewhere in MN, just have to figure out which dealer it's heading next. dealers seem to have no idea when they stop by too. it's like the car just magically shows up at their dealership.

Starscream15 03-19-2012 03:20 PM

One of the guys at Morries is going to find out where it is right now and call me back.

Now that's SERVICE!

That's cuz the reps are the one's bringing them to the dealerships. I'm betting the sales dept are all training on the car right now and the reps swung them by. They really don't give the salesman much advanced notice as to when the car will be displayed.

We got to poke around one at Morries on Saturday for a few hours. It's not the Subaru dealers, but the SOA corporate 'Ops' guys that are responsible for the cars that are popping in and out of dealerships. They've got a small local office in Minneapolis that they're based out of for our region.

Very cool. I'm glad I got to sit in one. Not that it would have made any difference on my decision to buy. It keeps me happy until mine acutally arrives.

Gah!

I need to find one. I am really interested in the feel of the shift and clutch. Those things make or break a car for me.

ayau 03-27-2012 03:37 PM

so is there a brz in local dealers right now?

GrimmSpeed 03-27-2012 03:52 PM

We do have some inside info on one that will be in the state available for viewing on April 3rd. It is an hour away but our Engineers and myself are gonna head there. If a few of you wanted to meet us at our shop we could caravan to it.
