Aw Justin! I take it that you don't need my new FR-S anymore?

If not, no biggie... I'll still look to help out a local tuner and manufacturer of high-quality parts in Grimmspeed.

And we definitely do have a high participation with diverse ZC6 ownership.

Go 10,000 lakes!

Did they tell you how many orders they have in ahead of yours?

This is the dealer we work closely with and they have treated us VERY well. We are #1 on the list. If you guys call up there, ask for Tommy Patton.

Don't fret...we are still 100% planning to work with you and help you win this season!

I was tempted also. Never wanted white with any vehicle before but changed my mind to DGM last minute.. Hopfully we'll cover most of the available colors here in MN to make for a good group photo.

It'll be a surprise for me. I told my dealership (Scion) that I don't care what color I get, just not Hot Lava. I would like Firestorm or Asphalt personally because I eventually want to swap headlights with the 86.

So our group photo will definitely be diverse.

Ugh, speaking of headlights. I wish they gave us the 16" rims and kept the blackened headlights, even if it wasn't HID.

I'll be curious to see who cracks the shell first on changing the color of the headlights first. People did it with the 1st gen tC when it came out, and when I bought mine in 2008, the stock headlights were blacked out.

For me, I will have to utilize my parts connections at Toyota to try to get them.

Did anyone go the auto show today? I really want to see the BRZ in person. A coworker and I are planning on going on Tuesday to check it out.

not today, i've been working. will try to go tomorrow.

I went today. The BRZ was roped off! !$#@

It was a pre-production model so I'm not surprised. I tried to talk the factory rep into letting me sit in it with the old sob story "Oh woh is me, I haven't even sat in the car I've ordered!". She gave the usual "If I let you then I have to let everyone..." yada yada. She did say if I came back on the last day between 5-6, right before close, she would let me sit in it. I'm very tempted to spend the 10 bux for that.

BTW, BRZ was sexier in person. Major wood...

I also asked her if she knew if one would be visiting dealers in the area and she didnt know for sure.

Anyone else get there this weekend?

I'll be going Tuesday or Wednesday. Did Scion happen to have an FR-S there? I read something indicating they might.

Like Starscream, the lady wouldn't let me even open the door to peek inside. She was the same way to me. I got a few pics, but it's the red one, so it looks the same but very nice in person.

No FR-S on display. The women told me that there is only one touring the country and its in Atlanta now. The Scion people gave me free swag for being a Scion owner, but the keychain emblem was wrong...it was mirrored so it spelled noicS (you know)

She also might have mentioned that pricing should release at NYIAS. I'm hoping she is right.

Oh, I also got to drive a Challenger SRT8 at the show too!

Hopefully I'll run into someone else when I go who will be a little more willing to let me check out the car, but I'll probably run into the same thing.

It will be nice to at least see it in person. A little something to tide me over until May.

 Saw the BRZ at the show today. Definitely looks longer than seemingly indicated by photoshop comparos I've seen on the board here. It's a very nice size I'd have to say. I was worried it was gonna come off looking too small for me. Loving the car in red! I absolutely think the mustache looks like a cheap afterthought plastic cover just like the Mazdas. Dunno, the headlights are looking good but really doesn't do much for me. I thought seeing the BRZ in person would make it difficult to stay FRS but really, it just solidified my choice in the FRS. All in all, the cars both look like the same car. It's not even as dramatic of a difference like you see in a Talon and Eclipse. I will also add that this car throws off more of a RSX Type S price tag presence to me. Probably due to the stock wheel design. I'll post my pics tomorrow.

I'm not a fan of the stock wheels personally. Not to mention that they looked very narrow. They'll look better stacked in the garage with Blizzaks on them, hehe.
