BeSpoke ans 64gig usb Drive

I ahve had my FR-S since Dec 7, 2012. I have used a variety of USB drives to listen to music as i am a Driod guy. I have used a Memorex 64gig USB drive since Christmas. The BeSpoke HU has now stopped reading it. It is a pisser as it held enough music to be able to keep lots of stuff i like to listen to on it.

The FR-S i bough had the BeSpoke HU in it and if i had to do it again, i would NOT get the unit at all. it is a PIECE OF SHIT. It sounds good and looks nice but a plain stock radio would have served me just as well.:mad0260:

I am going to try a few 32 gig usb sticks and see what happen with them. I can still install a 64gig card into my phone and use it that way through the Bluetooth....

Yeah I just use my phone through bluetooth and stream Spotify. I did the same thing in my Tundra with a regular radio except now I have a fancy looking screen that doesn't really do much. I wouldn't call it a piece of shit, but I will call it mostly useless aside from the sound.

I really like the Bluetooth audio quality. Very nice indeed. No quality loss from my Samsung Galaxy SIII.

The manual on the Subaru's head unit says to use a USB drive no larger than 8GB though owners have been going larger than that. I believe it can run into indexing issues when the memory is too large so Subaru deemed 8GB to be "safe." Your issue might be related and I suggest you lookup similar documentation on the BeSpoke unit if you haven't already.

250 gig is limit on BeSpoke HU for FR-S.

Wow, that's a problem then. If the issue goes away with a smaller memory drive then Bespoke needs to revisit their spec sheet. Either way, I would complain to Bespoke.

That's true. I read it wrong and thought he had already tried another drive (he will).

I have done it with a a 320gig drive and it read it as well. Might be a bad stick.
