JDM Hand Brake?
1 Attachment(s)
So long story short I installed a Cusco Spin Knob and attempted to do it the easy way by not taking the brake handle off. I was very careful to wrap everything in tape as not to damage the handle but I clearly failed. I now have a 1cm wide chunk missing from the handle where I bumped it with pliers.
I decided to use this as an excuse to replace the handbrake handle. I was planing on custom building a red handle to replace the stock one. In my search online for ideas I stumbled on the 86 hand brake and its basically what i was thinking of fabricating myself. Does anyone know the true toyota part number to this handle. I cant seem to justify buying this for 210 bucks when i could make one probably nicer in quality for less than half that. http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/toyota...d-brake-handle or any other ideas would be appreciated. |
Try JPM Coachworks. They make a lot of really nice trim pieces for the 86. Their handbrake boot looks better than OEM and only costs $70!

Although I really like the knee pads I think that upgrade will be happening very soon. |
