I've seen inside a vortech way too many times. 3 v9 Blower seal failures in 1.5 years in my VW :(

Stop polluting the internet with "like" campaigns.

This adds to my point. This kit could easily cost $2k.
Theres nothing in this kit that drives their ridiculous $5k price.

$3,995.00 for parts alone.

and really those fins are larger in diameter than my Gt3071r there is a lot of machining there

also I looked at the first page of all of your quotes on peoples thread's. and the fact that you have only started 3 threads. It seems all you do is say something negative about everything you post on and everything about the FRS/BRZ. News bulletin: we actually like these cars and im trying to contribute to the forums. and in this case the vortech owners and potential vortech owners. And price?? really $5289.00 for a complete forced induction kit for a company as large as VORTECH??

Please do not post anything negative in my threads. Thank you.

Machine work
R&D
Insurance
ect..

Things at up which determine price Look at Tunes for these cars (any cars) They are not cheap even though its just a "simple program" they made in a week. Also most companys usually have a 10-30% hike on price for their profits. But thats every company. If they sold it just for parts and labor they would get no where. (company I work for usually hikes the price by 37% haha)

Not really my place to ask but why the distinct step in the machining on the volute? I guess thats a question only the manufacturer could answer.

I'm not seeing what you're referring to. Unless you're misinterpreting the shorter volutes as a step..?

That guy just likes to come in and complain on just about every post he makes. Pay him no attention.
