Specs:
Color: Gloss Gunmetal
Front: 19x8.5 ET35 225/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 ET38 255/35/19

The front tires are rubbing a little, and the back are pretty bad. I should have gone with 235/55 instead of 255/35.

Gahhh, I don't want to like 19's, but those look reaaaaally good. Nice job :)

Lverasky 04-13-2013 03:08 PM

did you lower your car?

JoeBoxer 04-13-2013 03:12 PM

Love the gloss gunmetal, what suspension are you on? They should really probably do around +42 rear in my opinion. I'm surprised it rubs at 38 though you might have to raise it up a little.

:word:

19's should look ridiculous on this car but they don't. These F14's in 19" damn near look like what the designers of the car had intended for you to put on.

Thanks for the compliment guys!

I'm on Ksport coilovers right now. Probably just poor tire choice on my part, +42 with 255/35 would have been perfect though. :happyanim:

I have been looking at these for quite some time and think they look good. I am curious if you had a choice in offsets. I decided to buy the WheelFit to calculate the exact offset i need and just haven't bought the tires to do it yet. I did find out that if you went with the 235/35/19 for the front and a 275/30/19 the height is the same for all intensive purposes. VERY GOOD CHOICE THOUGH!!!! Was the price right?

Thank you! I doubt you can fit 275 in the back though. I asked Forgestar's opinion for the offset since they know better with their experience with their own FRS. I just told them I want "flush" look.:D, but if you already know the offset you want, they can make it for you. It's a custom made wheels.

The price was right IMHO, I received several quotes from the vendors here and their price was the best. Plus they are local to me.

I just put 18x9.75 et20s on mine with 225/40's and I'm slammed on coils. I rub when it hit little bumps in the road. I rubbed all the time in my Scion tC so its nothing new to me. lol I'm not touching my suspension. ;P

When I saw the title of the thread I clicked it fully anticipating that I would think that the wheels would look too big. I was WRONG. Looks awesome. Congrats!

Agree with the other comments. These wheels are sex (they're on my short list at the moment) and they look great despite the size. I normally don't appreciate 19s on this car.

My previous car (Honda Accord) was slammed as well, I had to check Google Map everytime I went for a drive just to make sure there's not many bumps and potholes on the way. But this car is different, I want to be able to go anywhere, especially all the back road, so I don't want the tires to rub. :D
