Giving us a bad name here... ugh.

Does anyone know the owner of this car? It HURTS to look at it. For those who can't spot what I'm pointing out. It's not the fact that it has a wing, it's the fact that it's backwards.

Needs a dash of soy sauce.

As long as it's not a safety hazard (I'm wondering about that rear view visibility though...), who cares?

It generates lift in the back installed that way. It *is* a safety hazard. The back end of that car will be on ice at high speeds.

How much downforce does this wing produce? Negative one hundred. WTF!

Ah, I didn't know that (I have zero knowledge of aerodynamics). In that case, yes, I fully agree with you. Any mod that endangers other drivers is pretty selfish (and dumb).

So instead of "hydroplaning" he is "airplaning".

I just invented a new word, I should go collect some royalty checks thanks to this FRS.

Good thing everyone knows the Frs is to underpowered to be at high speeds, damn 200hp...:burnrubber:

Take his car, give him a civic.

ron wright 04-11-2013 09:11 PM

it seems like a wing facing backwards would still generate downforce, although not very well. a wing placed upside down would create lift instead of downforce.
