FRS Ignition Key

I know most of you want the push start button on the FRS but I for one would not mind using a traditional key. I think the key looks pretty cool.

Yeah I guess. It's just a key much like Toyota's been using for a while. Bush button is nice but I could care less if I have it or not.

I'm not a fan of push button start, but this just looks like the typical Toyota key, which I don't mind.

I don't really care about push button start. I'm used to using a key and won't mind still using. Though, if I did have push button start, I'd probably love it! :) LOL

But but but.... push start...

Kidding, I prefer traditional keys also. But not having to ever take my key out of my pocket and remote start is kinda sorta tempting.

Not to mention with factory remote start and keyless entry cars if you ever do something stupid like leave your keys in your trunk (not sure how but it happens to a lot of our customers... often) you can always have your car unlocked via Satellite. IMO that's pretty useful

I would prefer to have the whole push start with complete keyless entry but always have a traditional key as a fail safe ;)

If it doesn't come with push start I'm not too phased, but I'm going to buy the TRD which supposedly has it...

My parent's BMW will not let us close the trunk if the key is in there, that's even more useful :D

With Keyless go/etc. the doors will not lock if the keys are left inside the vehicle. It gives you an audible alert and the doors will not lock. Same goes if you leave your key in the trunk. It's actually a very cool feature and it has saved my ass before.

The key will look like every other Scion / Toyota key. Fat and ugly :(

Yeah, I knew bout that when SCION their reveal at LA. One of the rep show me the keys.

RRnold 01-17-2012 09:14 PM

I even hope they offer a non-chipped key.

No push start for me! Push starts are overrated and another reason to make you even more lazier.

It doesn't look that bad.

I don't like the look of that. The metal of the key probably barely goes up into the plastic remote part... :( Didn't someone post a pic of a broken key somewhere?
