Its OFFICIAL!!

Well after months of trying to and trying I finally did it.

I will be joining the Arizona FRS/BRZ crew as today I received a job offer and accepted.

My first day of work is April 29th! I will be coming from the always cold Milwaukee, WI. I am so excited. I will be leaving my family and everything I have known my entire life to make this move. Hope all you AZ guys are welcoming.

Congratulations and welcome. My wife and I have been in Arizona 17 years now and love it. I tell my friends back east that in the summer time we do the same thing they do. We live in a/c, drive in a/c, shop in a/c and dine in a/c. The big difference is we don't shovel snow or wear goulashes.

It looks like I am flying out next weekend to do some apartment shopping.

What area are you gonna be looking into? Where's job offered at and maybe we can help you which direction to go towards for apts

Wow thanks. I got offered a position at jp Morgan chase and will be working at the chase tower downtown in phoenix. I was looking at the trillium apartments. And probably in the price range of 1k a month and 2 bedrooms. renting a house would be nice for that price but i don't even know where to start looking. Id like only a 20 min -ish commute to work give or take if a great place.

I have a few friends that live right Downtown Phoenix and they love it. But phoenix is like any other city either you live down town or you live in a nearby city but everything in between is a little less than ideal. You could walk to work in 5min from either of these. I also know a great rental agent if you want her number.
