What is the box "Tag User(s)" meant for, found at the top of each thread. Where you can submit user names... where do they go, what happens when you do?

I just tagged myself to find out. But haven't determined, if anything, what happened.

You can tag other users, not yourself. But i really don't now exactly what it does. I'm gonna tag you, you will probably be notified.

I still have hopes to seeing the lower window with keyfob come to life!!

I found out what it does.

You tagging me, increments the New Thread Tags count in the "Your Notifications" pull down menu. And if I select it, it shows my tags, that you tagged me here, offering the thread to click on.

So I take this feature to be "hey, person I know, take a look at this thread I just visited and thought you'd be interested".
