Super Bowl Predictions
 

I am not sure how many sports fans we have here, let alone football fans. But what is or are your favorite team(s)? What was your prediction before the season and what are they now that there are only 4teams left in the competition.

I am a New England Patriots fan. My prediction before the season was patriots v packers but now that the packers were sent home it is a Super Bowl rematch of patriots v giants.

Pats Giants rematch. I can't wait although I think the giants probably have the upper hand since the Pats defense sucks. It's going to be an awesome game. I'm a Pats fan but I've been rooting for the Giants ever since they knocked off the Jets, Cowboys, and now the Packers. I think the Pats will pull it off though and get revenge for 07.

I'm not a Pat fan but I think the Pat will get to the SB. Joe Flacco is overrated, I have no trust in their offense even though NE secondary is shaky. SF will pull through. NE vs SF in SB, may the best team win but i'll root for NE since I hate the 49ers

Flacco is definitely overrated, he is very inconsistent. I agree with you guys about the pats defense in a way but we gave up 10 points this last game and I saw a different defense, a much improved one. Yeah you can say it was against the broncos and they aren't that good but remember what the broncos did last week against a "very good" steeler defense.

Football is one of the few sports that the best team doesn't always win....all it takes is a subpar game and the other team comes to play, i.e see the packers game last week....unlike B ball or baseball, you cant get lucky 4 out of 7 games....i agree w/ most that NE defense is leaky but they brought it against Denver.....they have a great chance winning it all, it's not like their opponents have world beater offenses....it all comes down the NE front line, if they can protect Brady for 4 secs, it's over.....

Hope Giants can go all the way. Eli is a class act.

I'm pretty certain Pats are going to the SB no offense to Ravs. I would happy if they upset the Pats. Whom the Pats will facing is another story. Rematch from '07 would be quite the hype and excitement. On the other hand, 49ers have come a long way this year and what they've been doing has been sensational. This is the only time of the year my HD TV is needed.

Yeah unless FOX broadcasts the game. Here in Miami, they forced DirecTv to remove them off the air. Supposedly because DirecTv raised fees or something idk. Point is, we haven't had our FOX local channel this past whole week.

K just read a little - turns out its WSVN (Miami - Broward county FOX station) are being greedy

Damn that is pretty unfortunate. If not go to a restaurant/bar. I remember last yr I had no chance so I went to Time Square. Went to Planet Hollywood and paid $50 for buffet w/ projectors and 50 in. TVs. You even entered to win a signed Darelle Revis football which I won. Plus, it was my birthday that day.

If anything this is the year of revenge, for N.E. Patriots sake.
My picks before the season began in the NFC was the Packers and Falcons; in the AFC (other than the Pats) I had Steelers and Ravens. The wild card and almost could have made some noise were the Raiders, too bad though.
So far most people around here want to see a NY and Boston match up. I'd still give the G men an edge over the Pats unless they can get some quick points in beginning of the game. I told those who wanted me to take bets on the Pats over Giants in their recent game that it would come down to the linesman. And the Giants won that one.
I don't want to get too ahead of myself right now, because you never know if the Ravens or 49ers win these upcoming games. I think this year whoever comes out of the NFC have a better balanced team at this point than the Pats or Ravens imo.
