When I read the title my heart sank.... I got so nervous....

Then I clicked, and then I chuckled.

The funny part is, unless they clean that whole section of track, the outline of the unit will still be there after they clean it.

So, slightly on topic, when are these graffiti's being done? At night, I would assume?

Not sure about this one specifically but Iv'e read many of them are done during the 24 hour races when people are partying throughout the night all around the track. Can't wait to get to one of those someday!

So was this one done during a gay pride 24-hour race? Also, wondering if this was done around the line for this turn, so that you, um, come out at the "explosion" part of the graffiti...that would have been a good one.

Pretty funny buy I don't get how they even allow people to sneek in and do this

zoomzoomers 04-08-2013 06:05 PM

It's a closed track and not open to regular traffic. So it's not like there are cars on it 24/7. Also, throughout the track there is all manner of grafitti and messages for those who've died on certain parts of the track trying to reporduce their Gran Turismo runs.

Wow that's a relief! From the rumors I thought they found a real penis on the track.

Isn't it a public one way toll road unless its closed off for racing events or testing?

There's a portion of it that is completely closed off to the public and is specifically used for testing/track time/etc. There's also a portion of it that is linked/open to public roads. Nordshleife (north loop) is the part is the closed section and what most people are familiar with. If you ever get a chance, take a ride with a professional driver through the course. Once you've taken a ride through the course, you'll understand why the place is so different. The course is so spread out it doens't feel like a race course at all. Some parts are so scenic that you would never imagine that it's a race course. :w00t:
