Paint Shop

Hey guys I need to get my bumper re-sprayed again. The shop I went to tried multiple times and couldn't get the pearl white paint to match. The bumper seems to be a tad bit lighter in certain angles. I got a refund so I can take it to a place with more skill. Any recommendations of a body shop in NOVA that can match the pearl white? Thank for the help!

Maybe have them buy the OEM paint?

L&M. I think they're in hoodbridge? They come highly recommended by the NASIOC MAICers.

no such thing as buying the oem paint. oem paint can not even be applied in the standard method anyway, it goes on more like powdercoat in the production process.

pearl white is a bitch. if i were to spray it, for a perfect (or as close as possible) match you really need to blend into the fenders. any tri-stage paint is a nightmare to get right. it takes about 2 hours to tint and do spray out test panels before you can even think about spraying the part/car.

If you're willing to travel, IAG did an amazing job painting my wing and matching it to the stock WRB.

If you are in centreville D and V would be your best bet they are located in Sterling and do the work for Ferrari/Lambo of Washington

I'll repeat what I've said several times. If you have any high end dealers (Ferrari, R.R., etc.) in your area that do not have their own body shop ask them who they use when they need body work done? It's something they need quite often, even on new cars, and would certainly know who does the best work.
