Interior Dome Light in DOOR mode works in reverse!
 

Hey guys, I discovered that my door light does not function in DOOR mode at all, but I can turn it on and off. Brought it to Toyota for it to get repaired, but long story short, they rejected my warranty claim because I installed a drive camera by tapping it to the fuse for power and they claim it caused it which is bs cause it didnt work before i installed it, and hit me with a $1.6k fee to replace the ECU relay or something.

Anyway I didn't repair it and I just changed the stock bulb to the LED ones and it actually works in door mode, BUT in the opposite order. The light comes on when I close the door or lock the car, and turns off when I open it up.

Seeing how Toyota ain't going to repair it, anyone knows how I can reverse this in a DIY manner? Thanks in advance.

Remove anything you installed yourself (like your camera), take it to a different dealership, get it repaired under warranty.
