where is the mic inputs on the fRS radio
 

i have searched and searched and searched, where are the mic inputs for the FRS radio.

some people say its in the 20 pin harness, some say its part of the antenna, but there is no concrete. and im sorry if i cant find it, but maybe someone can point me to the right direction.

Im using the radio for another car, and wish to run an external mic. I already found the solution for the antenna, need a solution for the MIC.:sigh:

You would prolly be better off using a multimeter, I've been wanting to get around to finding the answer since ill be using it instead of my aftermarket one, just been stupid busy.

I hear you on no responses. I felt the same way last week, but it's a big forum and people are busy. There are TONS of info already out there, you just have to search it out sometimes.

The one for the Subaru BRZ is a better document with PDF links. The wires you are looking for are on connector D12 which goes into the back of the stock radio. You're looking for three wires - red, black and white, and if I'm reading it correctly, pins 4, 5 and 19. You want page 317.

omg forgot about this, i got so frustrated i ended up selling the extra radio. and now the car i was going to put it is going to be traded with the FRS. thanks
