Simply beautiful. These are definitely on the top of my wish list for suspension upgrades!

DriftEightSix 04-05-2013 01:28 AM

They look good shame they will cost me an arm and a leg.

How would this compare to the kw v3s? and Wondering why the ohlins dont offer life time warranty while the kw's do?

Yeah these things are simply amazing, and hard to believe but they look even better in person.

They are pretty close, both being super high quality and a top-tier suspension. The main differences is that the KW's will have independent compression and rebound adjustments, where the Ohlins will have a single adjustment. Also the Ohlins will come with the top hats where the normal KW V3 will not, and also the KW's are a twin tube, where the Ohlins are a mono-tube. So there are some big difference between the 2, but I don't think you could go wrong with either one. The Onlins may make a better, install, do some minor adjusting and be done, where the KW's will take more to dial in, but you can dial it in to exactly what you want out of the suspension.

It's a tough choice either way you look at it :)

Thanks,
Rick

wow those are nice.

vignesh 04-08-2013 07:25 PM

I am also wondering, if the KW v3 come with a dust boot?

JackSmiley 04-09-2013 07:15 AM

debating between ohlins, kw v3, or eibach r2...tough choices.:(
