Anyone getting an intermittent isopropyl odor?

Once in a while, I get this whiff of something through the air vents. It smells kind of like rubbing alcohol or an alcohol-based solvent. Could this be an internal A/C coolant leak?

Anyone else getting this?

Windshield solvent leaking?
That's the only thing I can think of fluids wise that might give off that odor. I suggest inspecting for leakage in the reservoir area and make sure the cap is secure.

Can you describe that smell?

I get so many smells thru the air vents that I just force myself to stop caring otherwise I'd go crazy..

But yeah, sometimes it smells like an alcohol solution..

Only thing I can think of would be windshield washer fluid, as CircuitJerk mentioned.

I get an odor coming out of my air vents that smells like atf or something similar. It just started doing it, haven't figured it out yet. Seems to happen when I drive it aggressively or sitting at stop lights.

Sometimes when I'm near a McDonald's I get the smell of fries coming through my air vents. Does anyone else have this problem?

Seriously though, it's probably fine.

I get it, smells like acetone. It went away, but every now and then I smell it. A/c related I thnk

I get it too, usually while the car is still warming up, no idea what might be causing it

Your HVAC is drunk. Tell it to go home.
