Good place to practice heel/toe braking in N. Seattle?
Need a safe place to figure out and practice my heel-toe brake technique without risking other drivers (out of practice after 10 years away from MT sportscars), so a large empty parking lot would be perfect if anyone knows of a decent place in N. Seattle or N. Eastside?
The old Northgate empty south parking lot was where I learned to drive back in the late 80s but nowadays that parking lot has been replaced with the Park&Ride and the movie theatre, and I can't think of a decent sized empty lot around without overzealous security guards (i.e. community college and high school lots). |
Come to autocross in Bremerton with us on the 14th! It's like 35 bucks and you can get all the practice you want. I have a few racing instructor friends that will likely be happy to give some pointers

Track practice is better. Plenty of run p ff areas just in case ypu mess up and way safer
