impending zombie apocalypse
 

So you are sitting at home watching the news and you find out that the zombie apocalypse is starting and its spreading like wildfire. You only have 1 day to figure out what you are going to do/where you are going to do to survive. What would you do?

I'll start. Find an island,(preferably key west) destroy the bridge.

problem solved, that is assuming zombies cant swim.

not much I can do, I live in MD and they are messing with my anti zombie rights!

Guess I'd take what's left of my guns, fit them in the car and who ever else I can cram in there without scraping and GTFO! to some place like key west before the bridge is gone.

I call dibs on Mall of America!

Hawaii. No bridges and plenty of ocean man-eaters to snag any zombie attempting to swim to Hawaii.

A). I'd blow my brains out cause it will be inevitable for the human race to survive the zombie apocalypse and I don't want to become zombified. :suicide:

B). Group up with my loved ones. Head to a safe house (probably my workplace). Start building it up to make it become a strong fortress against the zombies. Hopefully enough to hold out for backup. :scared0012:

Alt.: Find and collect as many woman and relocate to a safe haven to repopulate earth. :thumbsup:

C). If its just me and few people (friends, family, strangers, or whomever) I'd suggest we leave our home and head to Canada cause lets face it... no one cares for Canada, not even zombies or head to the North Pole. I got a feeling zombies can't handle the harsh conditions of winter cold. :D

D). Join a group of zombie freedom fighters and save humanity. :cool:

A) kill myself. Then respawn as a zombie to kill more humans. Win round for zombies.

B) Acquire baseball bat. Hide in corner smacking anything that comes close.

C) Re-Acquire baseball bat. Make sure it is of the wooden variety. Hammer multiple nails into said bat. Run through the street madly swinging and anything and everything that moves. Group loved ones/friends together, attempt zombie rampage.

D) make it to Washington DC, find big red button, push big red button, blow up world in explosions. Win.

E) make it to certain a friend's house that has crap load of weapons and ammo, defend self and family friends there until entire city of zombies is dead. Proceed to nearest Twinkie outlet. Eat, enjoy. Then go to closest pub named 'The Winchester', acquire pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

The only problem with the island idea is if there's already zombies there you will have to make sure you clear them all out without letting anyone in your group get infected. One infected person hiding the truth can destroy any group. Also, if you go to an island and destroy the bridge, you've trapped yourself there. If you don't have a food source, you'll starve, so hopefully whichever island you choose has farmable land, and you know how to fish.

Also, you have to make it there, rather than saying, "Go here, destroy bridge, survive" I'm curious how you'd get there in the first place. That's step one.

I live in a small town so i could probably stay at home for a while without getting overrun by zombiehoards. Going to an unknown place without planning is a bad idea.

Go to a store and get as many supplies as possible. That means food, water, medical kit and gasoline.

I would put wooden boards on the windows of the house. My car in the garage incase i need to flee.
Nobody owns weapons overhere so i'll probably have to rely on homemade weapons. Baseball bat with nails, molotov cocktails etc...

I'd try to survive aslong as possible while thinking about a plan to head to better territory.

I watch too many zombie/apocyptic movies. :bellyroll:

First thing I'd do is regret not building that lifted FJ I always think about

If I wasn't bitten initially I may survive for a few months. If it ever got to the point where the future of humanity looked hopeless I'd probably grab two Katana's, find a roaming flock of zombies and see how many I can take out before I get devoured.
