Give your senses a wakeup call and bring your favourite car to the TwinCam Club of SA’s Skidpan Day at Zwartkops Raceway this April 28th. Come master skid control & collision avoidance, witness your true emergency driving potential and put yourself to the test.

With statistic proof that over 13000 reported road accident fatalities occur annually on South African routes it’s a no-brainer that we need to be at our peak when it comes to daily commute. Being a confident driver and being able to react quickly in an emergency situation saves lives! Our precious loved ones and ourselves are constantly at risk especially during wet weather while driving.

Be prepared for the worst, be one up in an emergency, come learn how to really control your vehicle. TTCC are ardent believers in promoting road safety and driver awareness. In conjunction with TAD (Toyota Advanced Driving), their instructors will take you through a comprehensive and simulative course covering:

-ABS braking
-Cadence braking
-Lane changes
-Skid control
-Oversteer
-Understeer

Sideways is the new straight... Apart from life-saving advanced driving techniques on offer there will be a full Gymkhana for you to test your newly developed skills afterwards. An entire day out learning while having fun in a safe, controlled, legal environment can never disappoint.

Non-club members – R380
Spectators – Free

Expect TTCC to have some of the markets best suppliers and service providers there with you to showcase their stuff and provide merchandise. Food and drinks will be provided by the guys at Aces Cafe the entire day.

Yes, everyone that participate will receive a certificate.... :w00t:

Although this day is more focused on learning, skid control, collision avoidance ext. we do also have the timed Gymkhana at the end of the day.
We are currently still awaiting confirmation on the prize for the winner - will keep you posted.

Yes, it's deff a good thing for the woman to attend as well.
My wife will also be there with her Yaris TS.

She also usually do the Track day (later in the year)... With is also more an advanced driving coarse. It realy helped a lot with her confidence behind the wheel... :thumbsup:
