Sony MirrorLink Stereos
 

So I was on Engadget and I came across MirrorLink car stereos made by Sony. It is an integration of the smartphone and stereo technology. I think the neat part about it is that smartphone manufacturers who have compatibility have their own interface. I think it is pretty clever.

Toyota, Aisin, Alpine, and Pioneer are main members of MirrorLink. Toyota was the first to offer a MirrorLink system with the iQ in Europe. So there is a decent chance we'll see this in an FR-S within a year or two.
