Guys those of you who have a Stadard spec 86, may not know that the car has gear selector indicator which is current in off mode.

To activate refer to manual on page 192.

Don't forget about the shift indicator and being able to change rpm the light comes on. The two things I always show people.

anyone buying a new car should read the entire owners manual - at which time you would discover this function.

I had my shift light and gear indicator adjusted/initialized before I left the dealer parking lot

I love the gear indicator. With a 6 speed box you sometimes don't know what gear you're in and this means you don't have to look down.

The shift up light - we can safely ignore this

Where can I download the manual?

it should have come with your car when you bought the car

I don't have an 86 yet. From your previous post I got the impression that you read the manual before delivery.

Wow... you must have absolutely no idea what gear you're in. How would you ever know without this display?

I can't tell if you're being serious or not. I have to assume even though there was not a :D in your post that you were throwing in a little humorous sarcasm. If you were serious, let me know and I'll explain.

Although I am tempted to keep this going, I was being sarcastic.
