Very interesting. Worth watching for sure!

TheAsgard 01-13-2012 12:31 AM

Thanks for that one!
Exactly my opinion: "Fun is better than speed!"

P.S.: Sometimes, it's the same ;-)

SUB-FT86 01-13-2012 12:33 AM

So in other words wider tires equals little to no fun in the AS1? Bullshit.

Argent6978 01-13-2012 12:37 AM

+1 Interesting vid for sure. :)

Lol, I wouldn't mind giving it a go in that merc with those tires. It would be drift central for sure.

ummm... yes....... unless you get more power so the power to thread ratio is higher.

Spaceywilly 01-13-2012 01:12 AM

That was awesome. You also get better fuel economy on the Prius tires so it's win win. I'm sure the keyboard warriors will go out and buy 235 semi slicks on day 1 but I will definitely keep the Prius tires, though I will probably get another set of rims with sticky tires for autocross.

Yeah, I want to get a second set of rims and tires as well, but not sure how long it will be before I can afford them. :(
