Headers install help!!!

I am installing my agency power headers..stock headers are off and as I fit the agency power headers on it is touching the oil pan!! Is this am issue anybody else has run into??

No because no one buys those headers.

How bad are they touching? Perhaps you can rig up some spacers? You'd probably have to get them custom made though.

No reply to this thread is going to change the situation. Your options:

1) Put the OEM one back on
2) Buy something else from another manufacturer
3) Get into a potentially lengthy exchange with Agency Power

You can try to modify your oil pan. That is, to take a solid round object, like an impact socket and hit the oil pan with a hammer (or sledgehammer) to change the shape. I'd only attempt this if the headers are barely touching and you need a few mm of clearance.

You can try bending the headers into shape if there seems to be a large amount of contact. Something probably got bent out of shape.

The best option is to return the headers. There are so many better options out there...

Return the headers. Bashing your oil pan is not a good idea, there are baffles inside of it and you could disfigure the baffles inside the oil pan.

It doesn't matter how many vivid/agency threads I see. I am still blown away by the amount of negative feedback I see. I swore vivid off years ago and only ever see things like this pop up from time to time. Meh. Sorry you got sucked into their vortex bro.
