Factory shift light/chime

So, apologies if this has been covered, spent about 12 minutes running different keywords in search.

Is there a way to increase the volume drastically on the beep that accompanies the shift light? It's cool and all but barely audible which makes it useless.

Thanks in advance!

If all goes well with the insurance and registration, I'll be picking my FR-S up tonight. I can ask the dealer when they're going over configuring that stuff with me.

LOL, expecting the dealer to know actual things about car.

I imagine that the speaker for the chime speaker may be in the gauge cluster. Does anyone have any pics of the back of the cluster?

I'm installing my sub/amp this week, I'll pull the cluster off and look

Nothing in any of the owners books about volume, just setting it.

LOL. Didn't even know there was a chime with the shift light. I've never heard it.

You have to set buzzer on, it's not on by default.

Wonderbar 04-02-2013 03:37 PM

It's super quiet and "off" by default

1. I doubt you can change it.

2. I know the dealer won't know. In fact, they won't even know this feature exists.
